it feels good to be 19. but then again thats one year closer to 20, and after that everything starts to go downhill (or shows the effects of gravity, if you get my drift)

but i've been just taking everything one step (or day) at a time. when i finally decided to do my rvw cosplay, there was a period where i felt like i had to get it all done NOW, because everything just felt its was happening just too slowly, and soon after that i decided, I want to do a Ryuuko cosplay too! and i understood, its deadline would be 2 years from now, after i'm done with rvw, which i expect to be done by animazement next year. so i hoped to have it done in 1 year.

but ether way, i did a whole lot of research, when i didn't really need to, on ryuuko's stuff instead of rvw. but then again Ryuuko's cosplay is gonna be a whole lot harder than rvw, even though i still haven't figured out how i'm gonna do his hair loopy.

but my b-day has come and gone, and it seems like some things are finally starting to move, i've gotten my sewing machine like i asked for, even though its a kenmore, and it works great, like any new sewing machine should, except it still gets threads stuck in it when im trying to do reverse stitching. but it isn't bad.

as soon as i get the money, i'm gonna get some fabric and some patterns.

on another note, it seems that nanaya is making a come back in Monochrome factor. exciting, no? i should really get to writing ch2 of electricity... fufufu. while were at it, what ever happened to that itasasu fic? and i should finish chapter one of kuro! college and procrastination is sucking up all my time! what am i doing still writing here? gtg!

college has started to pick up its pace a little now, not hard, just exasperating. probably because the first set of tests have been taken and graded. with the exception of this essay that i've finally found time to take a break on. but whats most funny, the hardest class and the one that gives the most assignments, is ACA, student transfer success. its only worth 1 credit. wtf? our teacher is taking things too seriously. and she's really weird and "I'm Smiling at yoooouuu!!!!!" "i'm running on 4 hours of sleep! but i must adhere to the stereotypical young american female professor! *smiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillee* *twitch*

thank god this class ends sooner than my others.

so, all that trouble i was having about choosing a cosplay? decided!

thanks to several cosplay tip videos on youtube, i've finally straightened things out. tribalbutterfly was a big help!

so who am i gonna do you ask? Rip Van Winkle from Hellsing! i mean, i'm only in the begining stages, but i've gotten a good collection of reference pictures and i've written down all the important details, fabric choice, and colors. i plan on getting a sewing machine for my birthday, so if i can't find the right clothing pieces i'll make them. but first i plan on going down to franklin street to check out the thrift stores (there are tons of them there)

=white gloves (i know one thrift store in particular that had some pretty decent white silk(like) gloves for cheap last time i went to it (but then again that was several months ago...))
= pink dress shirt (yes pink, she IS a girl, if rather tomboyish...)

=memorize one of the songs she sings (ugh german)
=black leather schoolgirl style shoes (seriously. just take kagome's shoes and turn them black)

hopefully i'll have it done before march comes around. but you never know. also, if you happen to see something i might want for this, just point me in the right direction. i'll love you. i might even do a commission for it, or maybe in exchange for something you want to get rid of from the deep recesses of you closet.
